A function of a colon is to absorb water (including Materials), food wastes since digested in the stomach and small intestine. Therefore forms the remaining material on the subject fairly solid for disposal. Without it is soft and waste a half -- liquid and subject to disposal restrictions, sometimes unpredictable, what could be embarrassing. One can not survive without two points, but they have made an artificial opening Abdomen (ileostomy) if the materials used out and collected in a bag under his clothes. The bag must be emptied at regular intervals, of course. Hope this helps. EDIT: I got the thumbs up secret sauce, I am very happy still fun around me now, semicolon almost ten years.

Well, if you removed half of the colon, we stayed with a semicolon.
Could not (Sorry, resist.)
Dehydration is very difficult to avoid.
